

Ralph Donald Foster, 84, of Memphis, passed away on December 22, 2010. He was retired from the Coca Cola Company and a member of the U.S. Army. He was also a Captain with the Provost Guard Unit in the Al Chymia Shrine Temple along with being a member of the Bartlett Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer and loved to fish. Mr. Foster leaves behind his wife of 61 years Irene Foster; one daughter, Debbie (Charles) Young; two sons, Donald Foster (Melba) and Harold Foster; two sisters, Bessie Massey and Carolyn Bickers; one brother, James Foster; five grandchildren, Bryan Foster, Nicholas Young (Jenny), Brittney Young Caudill, Laura Crook (Mike) and Tyler Spurlin; five great grandchildren, Kyle Crook, Madelyn Crook, Sadie Carmen, Parker Young and Carson Caudill; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Leigh Foster and Bessie Arnold. Funeral services and interment will be at 10 a.m., Monday, December 27 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 26. Memorial gifts may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
