Ralph M Hill

Ralph Morris Hill, 86, of Bradford, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2025. He was a retired City of Memphis Police Officer. He also worked for Wells Fargo and concluded his career as a U.S. Marshal.

The joy of his life was sharing the Gospel. His daughter often told him that he had a ministry from his recliner. He would ask her for many years to order books so that he could give them away to those who may or may not have known the Lord. He “loved” to share books with one thing in mind: sharing the Gospel. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Greenfield, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nita F. (Lamey) Hill, and his parents, John D. Hill and Elizabeth Holland; His siblings: Marvin D. Hill, Betty (Hill) Webb, John M. Hill, Linda (Hill) Burger, Wesley P. Hill, and Patsy (Hill) Bailey.

He is survived by his brother, Raymond R. Hill, of Holly Springs, MS, daughter, Deborah (Jonathan) Jones of Bartlett, TN; sons, Ralph M. (Laurie) Hill, Jr. of Bradford, TN and Mark A. (Kim) Hill of Bartlett, TN; grandchildren, Kyle (Amanda) Jones of Bushnell, FL, Elizabeth (Benjamin) Worley of Dresden, TN, Kourtney (Joseph) Frazier of Greenfield, TN, Logan (Miranda) Jones of Tampa, FL, Brandon Hill, of Arlington, TN, Austin (Jennifer) Hill of Gleason, TN and Zoey Hill of Bartlett, TN; great-grandchildren, Eli Jones, Cameron Hill, Evie Jones, Rylee Hill, Kara Worley, Beckham Hill, Levi Worley, Harper Hill, Willow Hill, Piper Hill, Jennie Frazier, and Jonah Frazier.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. Visitation 12 pm - 2 pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 2 pm with internment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Gideons International.
