Rebecca Williams Gray McGaughey, 90, went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2010. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until her funeral service starts at 2:00 p.m. all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Parkway. Burial will follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery, formerly Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter S. Gray, Sr.; her second husband, Kenneth D. McGaughey; her daughter Patricia Gray Powers; and son, Walter S. Gray, Jr. She is survived by her brother, Thomas M. Williams; her son, Bill McGaughey (Jan); her daughter-in-law, Betty M. Gray; her niece, Debra Hinson; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was active in her church, Audubon Park Baptist Church, where she was program director for Triple L. She also was a volunteer for seventeen years at St. Francis Hospital.
