Although I didn’t live close by and didn’t get to visit my Tennessee family as often as I wished I could’ve, everyone including Aunt Renate didn’t let that affect the closeness I felt when I did visit. I especially remember Aunt Renate and Uncle Neel ‘s hugs and kisses each time they saw me. I’m sorry for the lost time with Renate and family my distance caused. I have such fond memories when we’d go to the lake and cabin except for the spiders, lol. Also riding around their house on Doug/Dwight’s mini bike and almost killing myself with Monica as we didn’t know how to brake. I also remember Renate always wondering where Doug wondered off to. lol. Fond memories of her and all my cousins. Renate and everyone always welcomed us with her smile, hugs, and kisses. May you rest in peace next to Neel and Dannie. All my love , Carmen

One of the many fond and loving memories I have of Aunt Renee is of her laughter. When she started laughing it was infectious and lasted forever. I can still hear laughing even now.

I know this is and will be a very difficult time for the children... losing one's parents is awful... and now both of them being gone makes it 10,000 time worse.

Just know there is an end to all suffering.

Cousin Joey.

I loved Aunt Renate. She was so full of joy and laughter. I also loved to watch her dance the polka. She will be greatly missed.

I met Renate the first year my family and I moved to Memphis. We became good friends. Renate and Neal helped me out of many problems I was going through and I never have forgotten their kindness and love. I have tried a few times to find Renate, Neal, and the children but to no avail.
My blessings to you
Gisela
