Richard H. “Rick” Pannell, 57, of Bartlett, passed away on Saturday afternoon, June 14, 2014 at his home. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church where he was active in the choir. He also enjoyed painting. Mr. Pannell, the husband of Sandra T. “Sandy” Pannell is also survived by his mother, Lavelle Pannell; sister, Sharon (Daniel) Troxell and nephew, Dustin, all of Cordova. He was loved and will be missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Harold Pannell. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, June 18, from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. A celebration of Rick’s life will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 19 in Pollard Chapel at Bellevue Baptist Church, 2000 Appling Rd., Cordova. Interment will be private.
