Richard Wayne Spradley, age 49, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. Richard was born December 31, 1972. He was a competitive BBQ Pit master and judge. Richard was a 22 year active duty veteran of the United States Navy retiring at the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was full of life and loved spending weekends with his children and four huskies, Trico, Lola, Kora, and Sukki. He was a dedicated Seattle Seahawks fan.
Richard is survived by his son Sylas Spradley; his daughter Kylea Spradley (Andrew Peters); and his son Tyler Spradley; his mother Ruby Hall (Jim); his brother Brian Spradley, his sister Heather Ii (Eric) and his step-brother Chris Parker (Jessica); his nephew Lucas Spradley, his niece Emma Spradley and his niece Georgia Ii.
He is also survived by a host of friends and family.
Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife of 22 years Tamera Spradley.
A celebration of life for Richard will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a catered reception from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
