

Robert E Amy III “Bobby” of Eads, TN, ended a long battle with cancer on October 2nd, 2023 while surrounded by his family and friends. Bobby was born in Altas, OK March 3, 1968 to Robert and Edith Amy Jr. both preceded in death. He is survived by his wife Stephanie Halford Amy, son Austin Robert Amy (17), daughter Annabelle Kay Amy (17), sister Sandra Amy Franks and husband Colby of Winter Park, FL, Shelia Halford, mother in-law and preceded in death father in law Terry Halford of Eads, TN, Kimberly Halford Benjamin, sister in law and husband Greg of Atoka, TN. His nephew and nieces include Parker & Paige Franks of Winter Park, FL and Nick & Ayla Benjamin of Atoka, TN.
Bobby was a graduate of Germantown High School class of ‘86 and Baylor University class of ‘90
Hankamer School of Business with a BBA in Finance & Entrepreneurship. Bobby worked as the Director of Technology at VMLY&R, Memphis TN and had a successful career as a code writer and software developer. He was a partner and founder of USCerts and NCycles.
Bobby loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, riding motorcycles and camping. He also was an avid gardener sharing his garden’s bounty with anyone who wanted fresh vegetables. Bobby also enjoyed watching YouTube videos on survival skills and how to videos. He considered learning fun and loved to share his knowledge. He shared because he loved others and wanted them to be prepared and aware.
Bobby was married to his devoted wife Stephanie for 18 years. His greatest love and legacy are his family. He loved watching his son Austin play baseball and his daughter play softball. He was boastfully proud of their achievements in sports , academics, and their love and devotion for God.
As an active member of Bartlett Woods Church of Christ he loved his church family and they loved him. His perseverance while battling cancer served as an inspiration to those also battling illness. He encouraged others to not give up the fight. As a servant of the Lord he wished for everyone to know of our Savior’s love.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 16 at 3pm at Bartlett Woods Church of Christ 7900 E. Old Brownsville Rd. Arlington, TN 38002. This is a celebration so if you can come “Bobby Style” in Camo, cowboy boots, or hunter green his favorite color we are sure he would love that. You can also just come as you are.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be sent to Bartlett Woods Church of Christ.
