Robert E. “Robby” Covington, Jr., 49 of Memphis passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015. He attended Wooddale High School, was an avid sports fan, enjoyed being outdoors and especially spending time with his beloved family. Mr. Covington is survived by his longtime companion, Laura M. Johnson of Southaven; his mother, Teresa Parker of Memphis; sisters, Tandi (Sammy) Beesinger of Memphis and Morgan Covington of Memphis; brothers, Bobby(TeeKay) Parker of Oklahoma and Brandon Covington of Oregon; and a niece and nephew, Brittney and Tyler Beesinger. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Visitation will begin at 12 noon.
