Robert E. Everett, Sr., of Memphis, retired pressman from Rotary Business Forms, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016, at the age of 88. He was an Army Veteran, a Quartermaster for the Scouts, and a member of Local International Pressman Union. Robert enjoyed bowling, golfing, and doing carpentry work. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Maggie Everett and a sister Betty Jean Whittaker. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Peggy M. Everett, his daughter Beverly Kay Everett, his son Robert E. Everett Jr., one sister Sally Jarrett, one brother Benjamin McDonald Everett Jr., and one grandson Robert E. Everett III. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7 pm, on Monday, February 1, 2016, with funeral services at 10am, on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133. Any memorials in honor of Robert may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Diabetes Association.
