“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Ansel Hardison, age 69. Robert was born on March 1, 1956, in New Albany, Mississippi, and passed away on July 16, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Willene and Clarence Hardison and is survived by his brother Kenneth E. Hardison (Barbara “Barbie” Hardison, spouse) as well as numerous beloved cousins and friends. He was employed at Sutherland Cardiology Clinic, was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church, and received a BA from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. His favorite pastime was watching such shows as Andy Griffith, Beverly Hillbillies, and many other shows from that same era. He also loved all the old hymns and loved to sing them in his beautiful bass voice. Robert was much loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. The visitation will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 12:00 noon thru 2:00 PM with the memorial service directly after at Memphis Funeral Home on Germantown Road with a graveside service to take place immediately thereafter.”
