Robert Gerald Swinney, age 71, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Robert was born December 21, 1949 to the late James Robert and Ethel Marie Swinney in Baldwin, MS. He was a member of the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA) for 25 years. Robert retired from Cummins Diesel.

He is preceded in death by his brother, James Swinney and his great niece, Sarina Michelle Jones, his brother in law, Tommy Jones.

Robert Is survived by his sisters, Shirley Jones and Sandra Jones, his 7 nieces and nephews, a large number of great nieces and nephews and his two daughters.

A visitation for Robert will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. The funeral service will be Monday, November 15, 2021at 2:00 PM with a visitation held a hour prior, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
