

Robert "Harry" Wiseman, 78, of Braden, TN, passed away on February 4, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital - Park. He was born November 18, 1946 in Arlington, TN. He was a class of 1964 graduate from Bolton High School. Harry honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from September 16, 1965 to September 15, 1969.
Harry married Peggy (Bowling) Wiseman on December 21, 1965 in Arlington, TN. He worked at BellSouth until he retired in 1998. He was a prolific reader, enjoyed watching the History Channel and old westerns, along with spending time with his family and friends. He loved whistling, coffee, working on his farm, planting gardens, and driving his tractors.
Harry is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (Bowling) Wiseman; by his parents, Malcolm and Maggie (Carter) Wiseman; and his two brothers, Malcolm Richard Wiseman and Albert Carter “Skip” Wiseman.
Harry is survived by his three daughters, Lisa Warren (Chad), Andrea Beck (Jake), and Tracie Allen (Keith); 7 grandchildren, Sydney, Gabbie, Seth, Annie-Kate, Charlie, Bryce, and Drew.
Pallbearers will be Chad Warren, Jake Beck, Keith Allen, David Lewis, DJ Lewis, and Seth Terry. Honorary Pallbearers will be Drew Warren, Bryson Meadows, Shane Broughton and Charlie Allen.
A visitation will be at Memphis Funeral Home - Germantown Road on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:00pm followed immediately by a funeral service at 2:00pm at the same location with Reverend Michael Walker of Braden United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory may be offered to Braden United Methodist Church and the American Cancer Society. The family of Harry wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Sharon Starks-Davis, his personal nurse; Braden United Methodist Church and its members; Pam Bariola FNP-C, Dr. Henry Stamps and staff; ALL family, friends, and neighbors that have been so supportive during this time.
