

ROSELLA M. OLSHEFSKI, 83, of Cordova, passed away on February 7, 2013. She was born July 22, 1929 in Youngstown, PA to Joseph and Agnes Pagnotta. Mrs. Olshefski was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John J. Olshefski, a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Mary Catherine Alesch of Colorado Spring, CO. She is survived by her sister, Theresa Rullo of Latrobe, PA; brother, Francis Pagnotta of Youngstown, PA; daughters, Marie A. Fisher of Bastrop, TX, Pauline Pieper Vernon of Cordova, TN; son, John J. Olshefski, Jr. of Atascadero, CA; granddaughters,Elizabeth Fisher Matney and Katherine Fisher Wilford of Austin, TX, Megan and Renée Olshefski of Atascadero, CA, and grandson, Daniel Pieper of Los Angeles, CA. Mrs. Olshefski moved to Tennessee from Loma Linda, CA in 2006 and was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She loved all generations of her family and will be long remembered for her full involvement in their lives. Visitation will be Friday, February 15 from 5-7 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral mass will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8151 Chimneyrock Blvd., Cordova. The graveside service and interment will take place on Saturday, March 30 at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
