Born on September 24, 1929, in Osceola, Arkansas, she grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where she spent her early years and formed many cherished memories.
Ruby was born to Ruby Mae (Cliff) Tarver and her father Delmont Burthold (Velma) Laengle. She carried the strength, faith, and values of her family throughout her life.
She married the love of her life, Albert Abington, and together they built a home filled with devotion, laughter, and enduring love. Ruby was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Abington (Mike) Gearing, and Debbie Abington (Mark) Robertson. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Marci, Jay, Brittney, Ashley, Lee and Lori and cherished her 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Ruby will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and the deep love she poured into her family. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and in the many lives she touched.
