Ruby Mayberry Ferguson, of Marion, AR, born on December 9, 1920 in Canton, MS, passed away on February 10, 2016, at the age of 95. Ruby worked in aircraft manufacturing as part of “Rosie the Riveter” campaign of American women who supported their country during WWII. She was preceded in death by her husband William Nolan Ferguson and her son Timothy Joel Ferguson. Ruby is survived by her children Shirley Joy Goodwin, William Nolan Ferguson, Donnie Jean Chambers (Robert), Johnny Dean Ferguson, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Friday, February 12, 2016, with funeral services at 10am, on Saturday, February 13, 2016, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
