Mrs. Ruth was a true lady and dear friend. She was a faithful volunteer at Memphis Theological Seminary for over 13 years. Even when her sight was going Mr. Charles would bring her and she would seal envelopes and put the stamps on the mailings. I have been blessed by them both for these many years. Thankfully, they are part of my extended church family through Mary.

Grandma,

You will be missed so much! I'm so glad for every moment I had with you! All of the cooking lessons, fun weekends at the farm, trips to the Memphis Zoo! I will cherish those phone calls we had! And a few video chats on yahoo messenger! You were an amazing woman! You always told me that one day, me and Stacey would be best friends and I always thought you were wrong because we fought so much, but you were totally right! I miss you already but rest in peace, sweet lady!

Love,

Wendy

Where do I even begin...the pool, skinny dipping. Coloring on the rug. Snow babies. Amaretto on the ice cream sandwiches. Homemade spaghetti sauce. The garden. Clothes on the line. The fish pond. The cats and the fish pond. The chicken wire on the fish pond. No more cats in the fish pond. The lessons in sewing. Sunday church. Holding hands in the car. Books on tape. Lovely paintings. The doll ambulance and stretcher with little hospital gowns. The laugh. The smile. I love you Grandma. You'll never be forgotten and you'll live on in our hearts and our babies. Rest in peace Grandma.
