I had the pleasure and honor of working for Sandy at State Farm. As a young man starting my first "real" job after college, she was the perfect boss to get my career off in the right path. I appreciated her leadership, friendship, and she demonstrated great patience dealing with me. I have fond memories of her as a person and respect for her as leader that helped shaped my career. Prayers of comfort and peace to the family.

I had the pleasure and good fortune to work with and for Sandy for many years. She was a great boss, co-worker, and friend. She was an EXCELLENT gourmet cook and loved to share recipes and food and I learned very much from her. She was also the person to ask any type of question regarding English. The best resource if the crossword puzzle had you stumped! She listened to Rock 103 and never wanted to drive a "grown up car". We both loved our sports cars. She was generous and shared so much with others. She loved her dogs and her people. She will be greatly missed! Don, Andy, and family you are in my prayers. With love, Carla Sexton (and Freddy)

Sandra, Jane Hodges, and my sister Pat Olds were the best of friends when they were in school in Fayette County, they all graduated together from high school together. All had younger brothers, I was the youngest of the brothers and the most annoying especially to Sandra. I just really enjoyed doing it, I don't know why. They were all at least 8 years older than I. She was a great friend to my sister during their years in school. My sister has been gone for almost 23 years. I'm sure Sandra and Pat are having a great time in heaven with NO interruptions from the bratty lil brother as Jane STILL calls me. lol
I'm so sorry for your family's loss! Will keep you all in my prayers.
