Sandy Kay Sowell Dunn, 65, of Bartlett, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, a former member of Raleigh Assembly of God, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed Southern Gospel Music. Mrs. Dunn, the wife of Paul W. Dunn for 46 years, also leaves two daughters, Paula Davidson of Byhalia, MS and Teresa Davis of Memphis; four brothers, James Sowell, Jr. of Lincoln, NE, John Sowell of Brownsville, TN, Bobby Sowell of Bartlett, TN and Gene Sowell of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Micha, Kindle and Joseph Vickers and Amber and Zack Pilcher; and great grandchildren, Micha, Jr., Isabella and Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Agatha Sowell and a brother, Michael. The family will receive friends Friday evening, July 5 from 7-9 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 6 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens.
