Born to Robert and Marcia Swift in Memphis, TN, Saundra was a graduate of Shadowlawn High School; class of 1985. She was an avid, long-time member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she served as a prayer leader for her Joy Sunday Class. Her favorite hobbies included praying, singing, paint by number, and cross-stitching. Saundra was a lifelong fan of Memphis State Basketball, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and NASCAR Racing. For several years she competed in the Special Olympics.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Swift, and niece, Crystal Clark.
Saundra is survived by mother, Marcia Swift; sisters, Sherry Clark and Marilyn Mayner (Mark Harris); brother, Bobby Swift (Wanda); niece, Brittney Moore (David); nephews, Michael Clark, Brandon Mayner, and Matthew Swift; great-niece Adtison Mayner; great-nephews, Carter Moore, Alex Swift, Corbin Mayner, and Cade Moore; whom she loved very dearly.
A visitation for Saundra will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral service begin at 2:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023. The committal service will follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
