Scott Hargrove, 48, born July 11, 1973 peacefully passed away on April 20, 2022 into the presence of his Lord and Savior. Scott was an accomplished sheet metal journeyman and worked for the Shelby County Schools Maintenance department for 20 years. He earned the respect of his coworkers and supervisor due to his work ethic and expertise. Scott was a lifelong resident of Bartlett and Drummonds, Tennessee and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Drummonds.
He is survived by his loving parents, Dwight and Mary Jo Hargrove; brothers, Jason Hargrove (Robin), Matt Hargrove (Amanda); nephews, Jacob, Stephen, Ethan, and Caleb. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Robby whom he loved. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved and were so important in his life. Scott touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by both family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 26th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 2:00pm.
