Shannon Sheppard was born on July 27, 1966 and passed away on January 22, 2020. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Mac Sheppard and his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Christine Wilce.

He is survived by his parents, Carole Wilce Sheppard Huntland, TN, Frank Dan Sheppard, and his stepmother, Peggy Sheppard, Goodlettsville, TN. , his brothers, Stephen and Dan Sheppard, his former wife, Tina Miotti, his son, Sterling, Memphis, TN, and step-children, Dalton Smith and Brandie Soucy (Dustin). He is also survived by sisters, Laura (Ryan) Parnell, Southaven, MS and Denise (Michael) Sircy, Lafayette, TN. and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 1984 where he was a multi-sport athlete. He is a graduate of University of Memphis where he pledged SAE.

Shannon started his insurance career at Union Central Life. After many years of working with his close friends and mentors there, he left to join Bencom with his friend Bobby John. Soon thereafter, he and Bobby left to start Benefits Consulting Group. He was also partners with Bobby, Tom Dorian and Chad Harrell at TelaMed Plus, Inc.

Services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens with visitation Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00. Additional visitation on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 with services to immediately follow.

Active pallbearers are friends and associates. Honorary pallbearers are team members and classmates at Christian Brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude, CBHS or the charity of choice.
