Sharon Allen Burgess

She was born to the late Wright and Ruth Allen on January 8th, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sharon loved her family. She hosted Sunday family dinners and for 20 years, always hosted the Super Bowl parties. Her and her husband enjoyed outings with friends on Saturday nights to eat. Branson was her favorite get away and always enjoyed dancing and music. She will be very missed by her family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 32 years, Leroy Burgess; her daughters, Dawn Bruce (John), Holli Cohoon; grandchildren, Tyler Powell (Joe), Baylee Carnahan; great-grandchildren, Cooper Powell, Piper Powell, Mac Whitt, Rosie Whitt; and her uncle, Frank R. Allen.

Family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:00am on Wednesday, December 23rd at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 10:00am.
