Sharon was a devoted longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She was also a longtime supporter of the Police Association, showing her appreciation and support for those who serve and protect the community.
Sharon had a love for the simple things that brought people together. She was an avid card player and enjoyed the fun, laughter, and fellowship that came with a good game and good company. She was also a huge Memphis Grizzlies fan and proudly cheered them on whenever she could.
Above all, Sharon cherished her family. Preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Merrell Womack and her brother James Womack. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Angela Wilkins, and son-in-law, John Wilkins; her sister Theresa Jennings, three grandchildren, Stephanie Harper, Ashley Johnson, Andrew Wilkins, nephew Austin Womack and Niece Katie Myers; and seven great-grandchildren, who brought great joy and love into her life.
Sharon will be remembered for her faith, her generous spirit, her love of family and friends, her competitive card-playing spirit, and her unwavering enthusiasm for her Grizzlies. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the many lives she touched.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, church family, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
