Sheila's first job was at Orgil Brothers and later worked as a telephone operator for Sears & Roebuck. She eventually followed her passion for plants and opened her own shop, "Back to Nature." A dedicated volunteer, Sheila was actively involved at St. Ann Catholic School, where she served in the cafeteria and chaired the school's Buzz Book. It was there that she formed many of her closest lifelong friendships.
As a devoted mother of four, Sheila once managed 15 carpools in a single year to keeр up with her children's busy schedules. She gave generously of her time to numerous organizations, including The Women's Exchange, Le Bonheur Twigs, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Sheila will always be remembered for her unwaveringly positive attitude and her unselfish heart. She had a natural gift for helping others, always offering her time, energy, and compassion without hesitation. Her home, lake house, and beach house were always open to family and friends-she welcomed everyone with warmth and joy, living by the motto, "the more, the merrier."
She cherished time with her grandchildren and made every moment with them special. Sheila also had a deep love for travel, creating lasting memories with family and friends across the globe in places like Italy, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, and throughout the United States-especially anywhere near the beach, which she adored.
Special Thanks to Jordan River Staff, her caretakers Jarika, Kathy & Erma and to Karen Burris for her daily visits and care.
And anyone who knew Sheila knows she had a signature love for lemons-a bright and cheerful reflection of her zest for life.
Donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
