Sherma Ann Till Jowers, born October 23, 1936, passed away August 28, 2026
Sherma was the daughter of the late John D. Till and Ruth Till. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who treasured her family above all else.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tommie Ann Neely Scoggins, and granddaughter, Holly Renee Shipman Salter.
She is survived by her daughter, Johnnie King (Mike), and son, Joe Neely (Lynne). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Dusty Pike (Samantha), Ryan Neely, and Luke Neely, and her great-grandchildren, Kyler, Weston, Dawson, and Charlotte, who brought her great joy and countless cherished memories.
Sherma was a former Vice President at Bank of Steele, Missouri, where she was respected for her dedication and hard work.
Outside of her career, Sherma found joy in the simple things she loved most—canning, shopping, and spending time with her family. She had a special way of making those around her feel loved, and her family was truly the center of her world.
Her love, strength, and memories will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of family, love, and devotion will live on through the generations she leaves behind.
Services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens 3700 N Germantown Pkwy. Bartlett TN 38133

Service starts at 10:00 am and Lunch will be served at the conclusion.
She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
Graveside services will take place at Pemiscot Memorial Gardens, CR 504, Caruthersville, MO 63830, US, on September 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
