Sherry June Stanfield

Sherry Stanfield, 85, of Somerville, TN., passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Sherry was known as a family person and loved spending time with those she loved, especially at Christmas gatherings. She enjoyed cooking and baking, including her signature fudge cake icing. Sherry enjoyed listening to music and singing and dancing to her favorite songs. She believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior and publicly professed her faith through baptism on July 14, 2013.

Sherry is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stanfield, her siblings Jerry Watts and Peggy Jackson, and her grandson, Josh Smith. She is survived by her brother, Ricky Watts; her three children, Johnny Stanfield and his wife Fran, Tina Smith and her husband Bobby, and Keith Stanfield and his wife Tina, grandchildren Stephanie Jones, Derek Stanfield, Cathy Stanfield, Aaron Stanfield, Caleb Smith, Kyle Smith, Tiffany Stanfield, and Angela Stanfield, and great-grandchildren Samantha Jones, Briella Stanfield, Zoey Stanfield, Maddie Smith, Abigail Smith, and Felicity Smith.

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday, August 21st at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
