Shirley, called Mimi by her beloved family, was born on February 10, 1933 to Horace and Clytee Bradley in Moro, Arkansas.
In 1954, Shirley wed Harold Burns Armour. Shirley and Harold went on to have one child, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. They were married for 66 years before Harold’s passing in 2020.
Shirley was welcomed into Heaven by husband Harold; her parents Horace and Clytee; siblings Edwena (Garland) Weatherford, Charles (Lois) Bradley, Ottaline (Harlin) Wilson, Loretta (Doug) Alexander, Sandra (Jerry) Pence, Laverne (Clifford) Hill, and Eunice Ann (Robert) Jennings.
She is survived by daughter Lamesa (Brent) Earwood, grandson Jeffery (Jennifer) Earwood, grandson Christopher (Jessica) Earwood, great-granddaughter Audrey Earwood, great-grandson Ethan Earwood, and great-granddaughter Hazel Earwood.
Shirley was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Somerville, Tennessee. She was happiest tending her garden, caring for miniature horses, and spending time with her family.
Services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 3700 N. Germantown Road in Bartlett on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. The visitation begins at 1:00. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Memphis Memory Gardens in Memphis, Tennessee.
