Steven Wakefield Kasserman, 77, of Orange Park Florida, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at his home. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science in 1967. He served in the Air Force National Guard of Tennessee and as a reserve of the Air Force from 1966 to 1972. He was a member of the Masons Lodge of Paragould, Arkansas. He was a member of Pickwick United Methodist Church in Counce, Tennessee where he served as the litergust. He also was a member at Acts 2 Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a wonderful family man, who loved his family, extended family and friends.
He will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his father Robert W. Kasserman, his mother Dorothy S. Kasserman, his great-nephew Cody Gustafson, and his stepdaughter Jennifer Miller. He leaves his wife Carol Kasserman, his sister Susan Babina, his son Robert Kasserman (Kelly), his daughter Jennifer Baugh(Brad), his stepson Robert Miller (Teresa). 4 grandchildren Spencer Holifield, Raven Holifield, Wake Kasserman III, Katie Kasserman, and five step-grandchildren Stephanie Alvarado (Jordan), April Parsons (David) Robbie Miller (Katie) Olivia Miller, Sydney Feuerstein, and 9 great-grandchildren. Nieces Shelly F Hood, Monica L Wong (Kwok), 3 grand nephews and 4 grand nieces and 1 great grand nephew. The family will receive friends from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday March 14, 2021, with the memorial services being held on Monday March 15, 2021 at 2 pm at Memphis Funeral Home. With a graveside service being held at Memphis Memory Gardens following the services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers any donations to be made to Pickwick United Methodist Church in Counce, Tennessee. Acts 2 Church of Jacksonville,Florida or St Jude's Children's Hospital Research Center in Steve's name.
