Teresa was a teacher for 25 years, specializing in special education. Teresa earned her bachelors degree in Interrelated Special Education at University of Memphis and her Master of Arts from Piedmont College. Teresa was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority and she enjoyed making new friends, being with her family, and caring for her dog, “Georgia”.
Teresa is survived by; parents, Frederick and Nona Nichols; Two sisters, Susan Biggs (John) of Collierville and Angela Prisock (Kerry) of Rockwall, TX. She also leaves behind her three sons of the Atlanta Georgia area, Andrew Lawson, Kristopher Lawson, and Ryan Lawson.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 31st, 2017 at 9:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, with the funeral service being held at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Memphis Union Mission.
