Terry Lynn Humphres

Terry Lynn Humphres was born in Helena Arkansas on November the 30th of 1952. He passed away the evening of September 16th with his devoted wife Pam by his side following a battle with cancer. He was born to parents Rube and Ethel Humphres of Vina, Alabama. He attended high school at Vina High and then continued his education at State Tech Institute of Memphis. He was a faithful member of Burnout Missionary Baptist Church. He worked in maintenance for Schering Plough (Merck) until retirement.

He predeceased by his parents- Rube Humphres and Ethel Peppers, daughter- Heather Eddinger, brother- Tom Humphres, sisters Jean Majors and Ruby Horton, mother-in-law Louise Shewbart, and his wife Patsy Seamans

He is survived by his wife- Pam Shewbart Humphres, grandson- JM Eddinger(Allison), great grandson- Ozzy Eddinger,step daughter – Natalie Barker(Kevin), step son – Lance Rozelle, step grandchildren – Shelton Rozelle, Landry Barker, Langston Barker, father-in-law- Forbus Shewbart, great nephew Stetson Taylor and great niece- Nora Kate Hester and many other extended family members and friends.

A graveside service for Terry will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134.
