He moved to Horseshoe Lake, AR in his teens and graduated from Hughes High School in 1974. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a helicopter crew chief. He spent his work career at FedEx for 32 years as well as a Bartlett Reserve Police Officer for 26 years. He also held numerous other jobs in between including Security for Brother International and Andy Frain Services.
Terry loved his family above all. He especially enjoyed fishing, following sports such as the Arkansas Razorbacks, Memphis Tigers & Tennessee Titans, traveling, music and outdoors. He had a great sense of humor and loved people.To know him was to love him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Ouida, daughters Anna and Mallory, son-in-law Kyle and grandson Walter. He also leaves brother Wayne McMillan, sister Nancy Smith and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert (Hubby) and Naomi Smith, and brother Nowlin Westbrook.
