Thomas Edward Gay, 88 of Memphis, TN, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday August 14, 2017. Tom was an Air Force Veteran and retired from MLGW after 34 years. He served as Supervisor for Millington Rural representative office for MLGW. He enjoyed fishing and quail hunting. Tom is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 67 years Winifred Louise McCarty Gay, his sons; Andy Gay (MaryAnn), Kim Gay (Sandy); one sister; Eddieree Porter, one; brother Carlton Gay, and two grandsons Andrew Gay (Heather) and Matthew Gay. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm, on Thursday, August 17, 2017, with funeral services at 11am, on Friday, August 18, 2017, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133.
