Tommie Lou King

Tommie Lou King, age 87, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Tommie was born December 1, 1934 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to the late Floyd and Agnes Martin. She spent most of her life taking care of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other children that considered her a grandmother. Tommie is survived by her children, Martha Medich (Dan), Cathy Kinsley (Rob), Danny King (Malinda), Cindy Haimes (Kenny), Vicki Smith, and Pamela Murnin (Dave). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 52 years Luther J. King; three grandchildren, Jennifer O'Connor, Andrew Murnin and Tyler Murnin; Her sisters, Mildred Lockhart and Nellie Montgomery; and her brother, Wayne Martin. A visitation for Tommie will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral serivce will occur Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A commital service will occur Friday, January 28, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
