Vera Lole Davis Martin, 96, of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, May 13th, 2012 in Atoka TN. Vera is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Thomas O. Martin, her siblings, Leon Davis, Dink Davis, Homer Davis, and Paul Davis, her sister, and her parents, William and Mary Davis. She leaves behind, her son, Michael D. Martin (Atoka TN.), daughter-in-law, Glenda Martin, 9 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Vera was a member of Georgian Hills Baptist Church, and retired from Kroger after 35 years of service. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 16th from 6-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 17th at 2pm at the funeral home.
