Vicki Denise Dacus

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vicki Denise Dacus. Vicki was born in Memphis, TN on July 7th, 1953, and passed away on July 12th, 2025, at 72 years old. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents William and Maxine Bradick and her granddaughter Cami Dacus. Vicki’s memory is carried on by her 4 siblings Bill (Melanie) Bradick, Dennis (Cyndi) Bradick, Brenda (Barry) Walls, and Wanda Carter; children Leigh (Chris) Rivers, Cathy (Eddie) Maharrey, and Jamie (Jennifer) Dacus; grandchildren Thomas Dacus, Regan Murray, Tripp Murray, JT Maharrey, Reid Maharrey, Addison Rivers, Caden Dacus, and Corbin Dacus all of whom she took great pride in.

Vicki, better known as “Nena”, dedicated her life to raising 3 generations of children with quiet strength, endless patience, and unconditional love. She lived a full and adventurous life traveling around the world, spending time with her siblings, and capturing every important moment with her camera. She also loved to read, and cherished time spent working on puzzles with her sister, Brenda. Her home was a haven of warmth, laughter, and wisdom – a place where everyone felt like they belonged. We will miss her deeply, but her spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

A visitation for Vicki will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a funeral service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
