He was born to the late Robert Tribble and Viola Street on September 19, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margot Tribble.
He was in the Air Force first stationed in Great Falls, Montana and then Germany. He taught flying at Dixie Flight Center in Memphis. He worked for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller. He loved playing golf, going out West, and German beer.
Walter is survived by his daughter, Michelle Tribble; his brother, Bobby Tribble (Shirley); and his sister, Barbara Linder (John).
Memorials may be made to the Memphis Union Mission.
Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, September 7th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
