William Brooks Baggett, Sr., 76, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011. He was a U.S. Army veteran, retired department manager with Noland Company after 45 years of service and was a member of the former Hickory Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Baggett, ,the widower of Rita House Baggett leaves a daughter, Margaret Elaine (Peggy) Lamberth of Olive Branch; a son, William Brooks Baggett, Jr. of Memphis; two grandchildren, Shauna and Kristen Cline; and a great grandson, Brayden Gordon. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Wesley Baggett, Jr. Funeral services and interment will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 16 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Visitation will begin at 12:30. Memorial gifts may be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
