William C. "Bill" Dalehite

William C. “Bill” Dalehite, 72, of Bartlett, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 after a brief illness. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired from PCN Biogenix. He worked in the garden department at Home Depot; having always loved tending to flowers and plants in the yard, this seemed like the perfect place for him. Bill loved his family, traveling, fishing, Dallas Cowboys and UT Football. “Grandpa” enjoyed attending his grandkids sporting events, gymnastics and band performances. He was also a member of Evangel Church in Memphis. Mr. Dalehite leaves his dear wife, Peggy; daughter, JoAnna (Skooter) King; son, David Dalehite; brothers, Ray (Cheryl), Ronnie (Debbie) and Terry Dalehite; sister, Jerry Givens; grandchildren, April (Nick) Smith, Drew, Amber, Christopher and Emilee Dalehite and his special little dog, Gracie. The family will receive guests this evening ,Thursday, March 31 from 5-7 p.m. at Evangel Church, 262 N. Perkins. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 1, at the church, with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
