William Andrew "Andy" Graham, a pillar of love and strength, unexpectedly passed away on December 29, 2023, surrounded by his family in Memphis, TN. Born on January 3, 1961, in Dallas, Andy's life embodied love, integrity, and a quick wit, leaving a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Andy, 62, was a beloved husband to Lisa and a dedicated father to his sons, Drew, Parker (Kim), and Max (Zoe) and his two beautiful grandchildren Elijah Beau and Reagan. His unwavering commitment to family was evident in every aspect of his life. Andy's gentle spirit, kind heart, and insistence on family dinners (as long as they concluded by 9 pm) will be forever cherished and remembered.
Andy took joy in simple pleasures, creating cherished moments with his family. He enjoyed watching Memphis Tigers sports and solving true crime episodes with his wife, weaving these activities into the fabric of their family life.
In addition to his immediate family, Andy leaves behind a rich legacy of family bonds. A beloved brother to Bobbie West (Mike), Terri Moore (Scott), and Pattie Hollingsworth, his presence brightened the lives of his siblings, creating a tapestry of comforting memories.
Professionally, Andy achieved notable success and left a lasting impact. As an associate of Corporate Bank Transit of America, he demonstrated unwavering commitment. His entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment of Graham Enterprises, a courier business, a symbol of his resilience. A valued member of the FedEx Offload Team, Andy’s commitment to his fellow team members earned him the Certificate of Excellence for Employee of the Month in June 2023.
Andy found solace in his faith, worshiping at St. Elisabeth's Episcopal Church alongside a community of lifelong friends that shared his values of compassion, grace, and love. His dedication to his spiritual beliefs was a guiding force throughout his life.
Though Andy is no longer with us, the memories of his love, laughter, and kindness will forever resonate in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.
A funeral service to honor Andy's life will be held at Memphis Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4th, at 10:00 am. Following the service, a graveside ceremony will take place at Memphis Memory Gardens where he will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to three meaningful causes close to Andy's heart: St. Philip Episcopal Church, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or St. Columba Episcopal Conference Center. Your generosity will ensure that Andy's legacy of love and compassion continues to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Graham family extends their deepest gratitude to Memphis Funeral Home for their compassionate and professional assistance during this difficult time.
