William B. Kitchens Sr., 88, of Memphis, passed away on May 4, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife Wilda B. Kitchens, children, William B. Kitchens, Jr. (Jane), Karen Ings (Barry), Richard Kitchens (Alice), Terry Beavers (Kathy), and Tommie Griffin (Ricky), ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Nell Brooks. Mr. Kitchens was preceded in death by his son Johnny W. Kitchens. Mr. Kitchens is a retired Master Sergeant of the Air Force with 30 years of dutiful service. He served in WWII and the Korean War. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, May 7 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2pm also at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bartlett Hills Baptist Church.
