William “Bill” Koehler, 83, of Cordova passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He was born November 22, 1933 in Wheeling, West Virginia. Bill played basketball for Memphis State University, was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict, was a retired basketball coach at Southside High School for 30 years and was a member of Hope Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Koehler; and is survived by his children, Lisa Stewart (Glenn, Jr), Kirk Koehler (Michele) all of Cordova; brother, Chuck Koehler of Wheeling, WV; sister-in-law, Marilyn Koehler of Memphis; grandchildren, Kaylor Stewart, Ashley Koehler, Alex Koehler and Glenn Stewart III (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Adelyn Koehler and Harper Stewart. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN.
