He will be missed! I don't think I have a memory of visiting Memphis or Mississippi where I didn't see or hear from my cousin Bill. Always sweet and soft-spoken, Bill loved to be with family. We knew if we needed anything, he'd come. From my youth to adulthood, Bill brought Christmas presents. He loved doing for others. I can't imagine not seeing him anymore. He was always there! I'm glad to know I'll see him again one day. He'll always be in our hearts!

Bill's passing will leave a void in my life. Every week he would call with "just checking in" and he usually visited twice a year, bringing plants! He left a mark both in my life and on my farm.
He could be stubborn and hard-headed, he also personified a very good man-caring, conscientious, non-judgemental, and honest.
Bill helped my mother, his Aunt Nan, before her death and helped me after her passing.
He was a wonderful cousin and friend,
Miss you

Bill Liles worked for my husband and I at Richard Stringer Nursery off and on for years.
Bill was our friend. He kept in touch visiting us at nursery as well as our home. Richard will welcome him to help tend the gardens he started just 20 months ago.
Condolences also from Tommy Stringer who says Bill taught him many things as a youngster growing up in the business.

Bill worked for my parents and for my husband and me after my parents downsized and then my father died. I don’t think I know anyone who worked harder or who was more loyal than Bill. There were many weekend days when I would look up and see Bill working! He loved the outdoors and felt at home there. He was so good to my parents for so many years and I am so thankful for the way he took care of their yard for so long. This will be a big loss for my family, but I know that Bill will love tending a garden where there are no weeds and pests. Thank you Bill and Godspeed!
