

William Albert Liming, 83, of Memphis passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on December 4, 1930 in Benton Co., MS to Albert and Jessie Liming, attended Blackjack School and graduated from Walnut High School married the love of his life, Eleanor Thomas on May 31, 1959. He served in the U.S. Army, was an ordained deacon and a member of the Odd Fellows. Mr. Liming also worked for El Paso Pipeline for 35 years, was a member of Cordova Baptist Church. He had a special love for all of his dogs throughout his life. Spending time with family and friends, working on his farm and simply spending time outdoors sitting in his swing are the things he most enjoyed. Along with his beloved wife, Eleanor Liming, Mr. Liming is survived by a daughter, JoAnne Gaskins and her husband, Fred; a son, Tommy, his wife, Carla; three grandchildren, Rachel, Hannah and Garrett Liming; and many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Juanita Weninegar (Coleman) and Mary Fox (H.L.) as well as his parents. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 20 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N.
