

William “Bill” Rush Williams, beloved father and friend, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at the age of 84. Born to Cuba Ann (Williams) Williams and John Ellis Williams, Sr., Bill was a veteran (Korean War) and long-time Memphian whose careers included working for the Highway Department and running his own tow-truck service from which he retired. He was a member of East Acres Baptist Church (Millington) where he re-dedicated his life to the Lord, Jesus Christ. He was an avid fan of the Memphis Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He is survived by his children: Gloria (Thomas) Eppich, Ricky (Sandy) Williams and Annette (George) Parkey; grandchildren: Brad (Mindy) Eppich, Jeff (Eleonor) Parkey, David (Andrea) Eppich, Nikki Camp, Joni (Nick) Ivey, Patricia Medrano, Tayla Eppich, and 15 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, John Ellis Williams, Jr. and Gloria Ann Williams. Services to celebrate Bill’s homecoming will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 3700 N Germantown Rd in Bartlett, Tennessee.
