

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brennen Pitts, who died on August 13, 2025, just days shy of his 44th birthday.
Born on August 22, 1981, Brennen lived a life marked by quiet passions and thoughtful curiosity. A lifelong reader and enjoyed audio books. he found joy in the written word, whether through fiction, history, or a well-worn sci-fi classic. His love for technology led him to build computers which he enjoyed creating and gifting.
Brennen was baptized at St. John Lutheran in Bartlett, attended school and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Walburg.
He attended Bartlett High School and loved football, being on the State Championship team of 1999 and enjoyed High School One Act Play.
Brennen also enjoyed showing pigs at the Bell County Livestock Show.
He later went on to attend Sam Houston State University and Texas State, earned a certification for Radiology completing it at the top of his class.
Brennen also had a soft heart, especially for his beloved cats, who were constant companions and brought him endless comfort and affection.
He enjoyed many movie outings and evenings of video games with his nephew Cutter
Brennen was Proceeded in death by grandparents Weldon and Corrine Pitts, Sonny and Virginia Meissner
He is survived by parents Ronnie and Kathy Pitts, of Bartlett; sister Priscilla Hale and brother in law Chris Hale, nephew Cutter Hale, 3 nieces Kinzleigh Crossland, Chloe Hale, Karsyn Hale and great niece Lakeleigh Crossland,
Leonard and Pam Pate, Billy and Kathy Meissner and cousins Karra Pate, Krista Pate, Samantha Amidon and Allen Meissner.
Brennen’s dearest friends who were like brothers to him are Jason McCutchen & Cody Adams In honoring Brennen’s life, we celebrate a man who found joy in the quiet corners of the world and loved Jesus.
Brennen will be laid to rest in St. John Cemetery, Bartlett, TX. In lieu of flowers donations my be made to St. John or Zion Lutheran Church.
