Eloisa Rodriguez

Eloisa was born on February 18, 1928 in Austin, TX to Melchor and Luisa Mesa.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a housewife. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Bartlett.

Eloisa was preceded in death by her loving husband Cirilo Rodriguez, her parents Melchor and Luisa Mesa, her sisters Manuela Casas, Aurora Casas, Margarita Mesa and Maria Mesa, and her brothers Raul Meza and Gilbert Mesa, as well as her granddaughter Cristina Sotelo Reyna.

Eloisa is survived by her son Louis Guerra (Elizabeth), and her daughters Gloria Sotelo (Arturo – deceased) and Delia Castillo (Willie), her 6 grandchildren: Donna-Marie Ortiz (Lee) and Samantha Guerra (Ann) of Bartlett, Alex Rivera, Alfie Rivera and Valerie Hall of Austin, and Arturo Sotelo of Dallas, as well as 18 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Bartlett with Deacon Mark White officiating.

Lee Ortiz, Colby Ortiz, Stephen Taylor, Fidel Herrera, Julian Juarez and Gilbert Mesa will serve as pallbearers.
