

Frances’s passion for fishing, finding arrowheads, camping, playing poker, looking at pecan crops & wheeling & dealing was evident in everything she did. She spent countless hours with family and friends engaged in all of these activities and her enthusiasm for them was infectious. Frances could always be called upon to help a friend or family member in need making a difference in the lives of those she touched.
In 1954, Frances met Dan Stewart and they were married until his passing in 2000. Together, they had 2 children, Ricky Allen Stewart & Robby Lee Stewart. She was a devoted spouse and parent, always putting her family first and cherishing every moment spent with them.
Frances was known for her courage, entrepreneurship, & unmatched work ethic and her ability to drive a hard bargain along with her resilience was admired by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
Frances is survived by her Son, Rob Stewart & his wife, Hope Stewart; by her grandchildren Stacey & Nathan Ivicic and their children/her great grandchildren Melody & Harmony Ivicic & also Kelly & Dana Stewart and their three sons/great grandsons Brayden, Brody & Tatem Stewart. She joins those she loved who have passed on before her including her husband Dan Stewart, her son Rick Stewart, her grandsons Colby & Sean Stewart, her parents Bonnie & Alberta Twomey & her siblings Evan Lee Twomey, Gladys Lockland, Dorothy Pierce; Bill Twomey, & Tempe Edwards
A memorial service will be held on July 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett, TX with graveside services to follow at 2:00 PM at Terry Cemetery in San Saba, TX.
As we come to the end of this program celebrating the life of Frances Stewart, we are reminded of the impact she had on those around her. Though she may no longer be with us, her memory will live on through the memories shared by loved ones and the legacy she left behind.
Let us take a moment to reflect on the many ways Frances touched our lives and the lessons we can learn from her time with us. May we find comfort in knowing that she will never truly be gone as long as we keep her memory alive in our hearts and minds.
To Frances, we say farewell for now, but we will never forget the light she brought into our lives. May she rest in peace, and may we continue to honor her memory by living our lives to the fullest.
