MARIE RUTH LANGE JANKE

February 19, 1925December 29, 2017

Marie Ruth Lange Janke of Bartlett went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 29, 2017. Marie was born in Bartlett,Texas on February 19, 1925 to Samuel Albert and Mary Wihelmine Lange. She attended the Bartlett German-English School and was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church. She lived all of her life in Bartlett area on a farm and ranch where she made her life with her family.Her husband, Bill ( William R. Janke, Jr.), preceded her in death nearly 30 years ago. Marie was a resilient, kind and loving homemarker and a proud mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Marie was the last surviving sibling of nine Lange Children.

She is survived by: Sons: Ken Janke and wife Sherry Kay of Belton; Glen Janke and wife Emily of Academy, Daughter: Nancy McClaren and husband John of McGregor, Tx., Grandchildren: Spring, Carrie, Trent, William, SueAnn, Emilee, Jason, Kevin, Dennis and Cristina; grandson Dan preceded her in death. Great- Grandchildren; Hunter, Teal, Vivian, Tyler, Colby, Brook, John, William, Evelyn, Leland, Evalyn, Collin, and; Cabeb who preceded her in death. And numerous nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive family/friends at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett for Visitation Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm with a funeral at 2:00,burial service and fellowship immediately following. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett or to the charity of your choice.
