Peggy Sue Thaler, age 74 of Schwertner, TX passed away Tuesday November 11, 2014. Peggy was a long time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bartlett. She loved antiquing, playing bridge, her pets, and her family. Peggy and her husband, Don, were active members of the Bartlett community, where they owned the Red and White Grocery store and the Village Antique Shoppe. Later, Peggy would retire from Georgetown ISD.
Peggy is survived by Don Thaler, her husband of 55 years; her children Donna Dawson and husband Neal and Lori Matlock and husband Kenneth; and her grandchildren, Megan Spinn and husband Kyle, Rachel Wiechman and husband Mike, and Meredith Brown and husband Corey.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 13, 2014 at 10 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bartlett, TX. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
