IN THE CARE OF
Davison-Fulton/Bartonville Chapel
Alexandra Wells Heuermann-Hughes, age 45, of Hanna City, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She was born on March 3, 1978 in Peoria to Alex and Brenda (LaHood) Heuermann.
She is survived by her husband, Jason Hughes; two sons, Logan and Landen Hughes; one sister, Jennifer (Pamon) Mir; and brother, Eric Heuermann.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Anita (Alexander) Heuermann and Harry and Evelyn (Wells) LaHood.
She was a Limestone Community High School Graduate. Ali’s first job was working at the family’s restaurant, The Village Inn. She briefly worked at OSF as a front desk clerk before returning to the restaurant industry where she loved to meet and serve people. Ali and her husband Jason also owned and operated Jason’s Pool and Spa in Hanna City. Ali enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, gardening, and family ski vacations to Colorado. Ali adored spending time with her loved ones at the families’ cabin in Wisconsin. She later moved to Florida where she enjoyed long walks along the beach in search for sea life treasure. Above all, Ali adored her boys and you could always see (actually hear) her on the sidelines of their sporting events as their biggest cheerleader.
